Deviled Pecans



  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 cups pecan halves


  1. Melt butter or margarine; add salt, onion and chili powder.
  2. Stir in pecans, coating well.
  3. Spread on a 15 x 10-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes.
  5. Drain and cool on paper towels.

Makes 4 cups.
