Orange Frosted Nuts

Yield: about 1 pound

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups nuts
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange rind

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, water, juice and salt. Boil until a small amount dropped in cold water forms a soft ball.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in rind, add nuts. Stir gently until creamy.
  3. Turn onto wax paper, and separate nuts.
