2 1/2 cups walnut halves
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups water
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Cook sugar, water, cinnamon and salt to soft ball stage (without stirring).
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla extract and nut meats, stirring gently until mixture becomes creamy.
Turn out onto greased plate.
Separate nut meats as they cool.
