Peppermint Ice

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup candy canes or red striped peppermint candies, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 3 cups Half-and-Half
  • Thawed, frozen whipped topping (optional)
  • Additional candy canes, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chop candies using Food Chopper; place candy pieces and sugar in Classic Batter Bowl. Add boiling water and whisk using Stainless Steel Whisk until candy pieces are completely dissolved.
  2. Whisk in Half-and-Half.
  3. Divide mixture evenly among 3 Ice Shaver Tubs; freeze until firm.
  4. Remove frozen mixture from tubs; shave using Ice Shaver.
  5. Garnish each serving with whipped topping using Easy Accent Decorator.
  6. Chop additional candies with Food Chopper; sprinkle over each serving, if desired.
