Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 3/4 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 4 ounces (1 cup) mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 (235g) packages refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 tablespoons grated fresh Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Using Food Chopper, chop pepper and onion.
  3. Cook and stir ground beef, green pepper, onion and garlic in Stir-Fry Skillet over medium-high until meat is no longer pink. Remove from heat; drain using Colander.
  4. Shred cheese using Deluxe Cheese Grater.
  5. In classic Batter Bowl, combine meat mixture, mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup pizza sauce, Italian seasoning and salt.
  6. To assemble ring, unroll crescent dough; separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on Classic Round Stone with wide ends of triangle overlapping in the center and points toward the outside. (There should be a 5 inch diameter opening in center of Stone.)
  7. Using Medium Scoop, scoop meat mixture evenly onto widest end of each triangle. Bring points of triangles up over filling and tuck wide ends of dough at center of ring. (Filling will not be completely covered.)
  8. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until deep golden brown.
  9. Using Deluxe Cheese Grater, grate Parmesan cheese over top.
  10. Heat remaining pizza sauce and fill green pepper bottom; place in center of ring.
  11. To serve, cut Slice 'N Serve.
  12. Serve with pizza sauce.
