Coconut Bird Feeder
Instructions
- Cut a coconut shell in half with a hacksaw and pry out meat with a blunt knife.
For each cup, drill a hole 1/2 inch in from rim, put a thick knot in end of a strong
hanging cord and pass cord through hole from inside.
- Fill each cup with 4 cups grated coconut meat and 2 cups warmed vegetable shortening, lard or rendered
suet.
- Chill.
- Use to fill cups or log feeder.
