Rhubarb Cobbler




  1. Place rhubarb in a greased 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  3. Heat in oven at 350 degrees F while mixing batter.
  4. Sift remaining dry ingredients.
  5. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Add beaten egg and milk.
  7. Pour batter over hot rhubarb.
  8. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees F.
