Skillet Cobbler
Ingredients
- 2 cans pie filling
- 1 (18.25 ounce) box white or yellow cake mix*
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup 7-Up
Instructions
- Pour the pie filling into a cast iron skillet.
- Sprinkle the cake mix over the pie filling.
- Slice butter over the top, the pour the 7-Up over everything.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for about 35 to 45 minutes.
- Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
Notes
* 18.25 ounce boxes of cake mix have been replaced by 16 ounce boxes. To compensate for the volume loss, whisk 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour into the dry cake mix before proceeding with the recipe.
