Key Lime Pie



  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon grated Key lime rind
  • 1/2 cup Key lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 slightly beaten egg yolks


  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients over low heat in saucepan. Stir until thickened.
  3. Pour into a baked crust and cover with meringue made by beating 2 egg whites and 2 tablespoons sugar.
  4. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until meringue is lightly browned.
