Pecan Meal Pie Crust



  • 2 cups pecan meal
  • 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. Combine all ingredients and mix with a fork until uniformly moistened.
  2. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9- or 10-inch pie pan.
  3. Using your fingertips or a flat-bottom glass, press the mixture evenly over the bottom and sides of a pie plate.
  4. Bake until richly browned, 10 to 15 minutes.
