Turkey Pie



  • 2 cups chopped cooked turkey
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 dashes hot sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crescent dinner rolls


  1. Combine first 10 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well.
  2. Spoon into a lightly greased 10 x 6-inch baking dish; set aside.
  3. Unroll crescent roll dough into two rectangles; press long sides together to make one large rectangle. Cut dough into 3/4-inch strips. Arrange strips in a lattice design over turkey mixture.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

Yield: 6 to 8 servings
