Kahlua Pecan Pie
Ingredients
Pie Shell and Filling
- 1 (8 inch) unbaked pie shell
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/4 cup Kahlua
- 3/4 cup pecans
Kahlua Cream
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Kahlua
Instructions
- Prepare pie shell.
Filling
- Cream butter and sugar together well.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Stir in salt, corn syrup and Kahlua.
- Place pecans in pie shell and add Kahlua mixture over the pecans.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes.
- Cool thoroughly and top with Kahlua Cream.
Kahlua Cream
- Combine cream and Kahlua and beat to soft peaks.
