Batter Crust Pizza


  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2/3 cup water


  1. Grease pizza pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients. Add 1 to 3 teaspoons water to dry ingredients to make batter flow over pan when tilted. Batter will be thick but spread easily.
  3. Bake crust for 5 to 7 minutes, or until crust dry to touch.
  4. Add pizza sauce and spread easily over crust. Add toppings of choice, then mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake an additional 14 to 18 minutes in a 350 degree F oven until crust is light brown.
