Barbecue Pizza


  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Cook and stir beef, celery and onion in 10-inch skillet until beef is brown; drain.
  3. Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms.
  4. Roll or pat dough into a 12-inch circle on an ungreased cookie sheet or baking stone. Pinch edge of circle forming a 1/2-inch rim.
  5. Mix ground beef and remaining ingredients. Spread over dough.
  6. Bake until crust is golden brown - 20 to 25 minutes.
