French Fried Popcorn



  • 8 cups vegetable or peanut oil
  • 1 package popcorn
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  1. Heat oil and, using a long handled spoon, lower corn into hot oil.
  2. Fry until kernels pop and rise to top.
  3. Remove and put on paper toweling to drain.
  4. Sprinkle with salt.
