Almond Toffee Popcorn
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup white corn syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup toasted almonds, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup popcorn, popped
Instructions
- In heavy saucepan, combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, water and almonds. Cook over moderate heat to 280 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
- Add the vanilla extract. Stir well and pour over the popped corn.
