  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 quarts popped corn
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  1. Melt butter. Add molasses, sugar and salt. Boil to the hard crack stage (285 - 290 degrees F).
  2. Pour over corn, stirring while pouring. Spread in thin layer to cool.
  3. Break into pieces.
