Granola Popcorn Bars


  • 2 quarts popped popcorn
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts


  1. Heat honey in saucepan until it thins out and pours easily.
  2. Put popcorn, oats, raisins and nuts in a large bowl and mix until blended. Pour honey over mixture and stir with wooden spoon.
  3. Press into greased 9 x 13-inch pan, cover with plastic wrap and chill for several hours.
  4. Press mixture firmly before cutting into bars.

Serves 12.
