Kiddie Popcorn Crunch

Ingredients

  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Dash of salt
  • 2-3 drops food coloring
  • 8 to 10 cups popped corn

Instructions

  1. Cook confectioners' sugar, water, butter, salt and food coloring to soft ball stage (225 degrees F) on candy thermometer (234 degrees F at sea level).
  2. Pour over one batch of popcorn (about 8-10 cups), mixing quickly and well.
