Toffee Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 4 quarts popped corn
  • 2 sticks (1 cup) butter
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3/4 cup pecans or dry roasted nuts

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in saucepan. Add white corn syrup and water. Boil until the candy changes color (about 10-15 minutes).
  2. Add pecans or dry roasted nuts. Pour over popped corn and stir until completely covered.
  3. Spread out on a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Cool.
