Hamburger Vegetable Chowder

- 2 tablespoons oil or shortening
- 1/2 pound hamburger
- 1 cup canned tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup uncooked rice
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup cubed potatoes
- Heat cooker. Add oil and brown meat. Add tomatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt,
rice, pepper, water and potatoes. Close cover securely. Place pressure regulator
on vent pipe and cook 15 for minutes with pressure rocking slowly.
- Let pressure drop of its own accord.
