Chicken Dressing



  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 large loaf dried bread, cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups finely chopped chicken, cooked


  1. Sauté vegetables in margarine until vegetables are tender.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to vegetable mixture and mix thoroughly, adding more broth if necessary.
  3. Bake for 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees F.
