Custard Pie
Easy to make and really good.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
Instructions
- Combine sugar, flour, salt and eggs and mix until smooth.
- Heat milk to boiling point.
- Add 1 cup hot milk to egg mixture. Pour that into the remaining hot milk.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Sprinkle nutmeg over top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 60 minutes.
