Custard Pie

Easy to make and really good.


  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell


  1. Combine sugar, flour, salt and eggs and mix until smooth.
  2. Heat milk to boiling point.
  3. Add 1 cup hot milk to egg mixture. Pour that into the remaining hot milk.
  4. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  5. Sprinkle nutmeg over top.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 60 minutes.
