Dutch Meat Loaf

Ingredients

Meat Loaf

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Mix meat loaf ingredients well and form into loaf.
  2. Mix sauce ingredients and pour entire mixture over the meat loaf.
  3. Bake covered at 350 degrees F for about 1 1/2 hours. Baste the meatloaf periodically with pan juices.
