• 6 large carrots
  • 2 tablespoons grated onion
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup buttered bread crumbs
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Clean the carrots and cut into thin strips. Cook until tender in salted water, about 10 minutes.
  3. Mix together grated onion, horseradish, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and water. Pour over carrots. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes.
