Creole Roast
Ingredients
- 1 chuck roast
- Salt and pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- Ketchup
Instructions
- Season roast with salt and pepper. Place in roasting pan.
- Arrange lemon slices on top.
- Sprinkle with chopped onions.
- Cover with ketchup.
- Add 3/4 cup water.
- Bake covered at 350 degrees F until meat is tender.
- Serve roast and pan juices with rice or potatoes.
