Ingredients

  • 1 chuck roast
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Ketchup

Instructions

  1. Season roast with salt and pepper. Place in roasting pan.
  2. Arrange lemon slices on top.
  3. Sprinkle with chopped onions.
  4. Cover with ketchup.
  5. Add 3/4 cup water.
  6. Bake covered at 350 degrees F until meat is tender.
  7. Serve roast and pan juices with rice or potatoes.
