Pastalaya (Pasta Jambalaya)
Pastalaya is great for potlucks as it serves a crowd.
Ingredients
- 1 (3 to 5 pound) pork roast
- 5 pounds sausage
- Chopped onions, green bell pepper and celery (however much you like)
- 4 cans golden mushroom soup
- 2 cans mushroom steak sauce
- 2 (32 ounce) cartons chicken broth
- 3 or 4 cans Ro*Tel tomatoes
- 2 to 3 large bags egg noodles or pasta of choice
Instructions
- Sauté onions, bell peppers and celery in oil until soft.
- Add meat and cook until tender.
- Add soups, Ro*Tel, steak sauce, chicken broth and pasta. Cook until pasta is tender.
