- 2 cups gravy/drippings*
- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 cup water
- Kosher or sea salt to taste
* gravy or drippings from baked ham, roast beef, roast chicken, etc.
- Pour leftover stock, water and salt into a saucepan.
- Bring the stock and water to a boil. When water is boiling, add rice,
reduce the heat, and put the lid on the pan. Let cook for about 20 minutes.
- As soon as it's done, remove from the heat.
