Vidalia Onion Casserole
- 1 quart chopped Vidalia onions
- 3/4 stick margarine
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated sharp cheese
- Salt and pepper
- Grease 2-quart casserole.
- Crumble a layer of cracker crumbs in bottom of dish.
- Sauté onions in margarine. Place on top of crumbs; salt and pepper.
- Beat eggs. Add water; pour over onions. Top with cheese.
- Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
