Creamy Pear Salad




  1. In a saucepan, bring pear liquid to a boil.
  2. Stir in gelatin until dissolved.
  3. Remove from the heat and cool at room temperature until syrupy.
  4. Meanwhile, puree pears in a blender.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and lemon juice until fluffy and smooth.
  6. Add pureed pears and mix well.
  7. Prepare whipped topping according to package directions; fold into pear mixture.
  8. Fold in cooled gelatin.
  9. Pour into an oiled 4 1/2 cup mold.
  10. Chill overnight.
  11. Just before serving, unmold salad onto a lettuce-lined platter.

Yields 6 to 8 servings.
