Creamy Blue Cheese Cole Slaw


  • 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup light sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese of choice, or more to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (16-ounce) bag already-shredded cabbage cole slaw mix, or thinly sliced green cabbage for about 6 to 7 cups


  1. In a small bowl, make a dressing by mixing together the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, water, sugar, blue cheese and black pepper. Whisk well.
  2. Place the cabbage in a medium serving bowl and add the dressing, tossing to coat well.
  3. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours before serving.

Serves 6.
