Eternal Cole Slaw keeps forever in the refrigerator. This is a very old recipe.
You may add finely chopped onion, if desired.
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over cabbage; marinate for 12 hours.
