Salad and Salad Dressing Recipes
Garlic Beans
Yield: 10 to 12 servings
Ingredients
- 1 or 2 cans French cut or whole green beans
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 5 cloves garlic, cut in half
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Drain beans; place in casserole with onion and garlic. Sprinkle with sugar; let stand for 2 to 3 hours.
- Blend remaining ingredients; pour over beans. Cover; refrigerate for 24 hours.
- Drain before serving.
