Old-Fashioned Hot Slaw


  • 4 cups cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard


  1. Beat eggs lightly, add vinegar and seasonings and blend well. Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  2. Pour over cabbage and serve hot.
