Old Smoothie Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cabbage
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Place shredded cabbage in a very large bowl.
  2. Sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Toss until mixed.
  4. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
  5. Mix lemon juice and mayonnaise in a small bowl.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Add carrots and green bell pepper.
  8. Toss to mix well.
