Old Smoothie Coleslaw
- 1 pound cabbage
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3/4 cup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
- Place shredded cabbage in a very large bowl.
- Sprinkle with sugar.
- Toss until
- Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
- Mix lemon juice and mayonnaise in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add carrots and green bell pepper.
- Toss to mix well.
