Oriental Salad




  • 1/2 (8 1/2 ounce) can water chestnuts
  • 1/2 (16 ounce) can bean sprouts
  • 1/2 (8 1/2 ounce) can bamboo shoots
  • 1 bunch spinach
  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds


  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar


  1. Salad: Slice water chestnuts. Combine with drained sprouts, drained shoots, spinach and lettuce.
  2. Toast sesame seeds in oven. Add to salad.

Add dressing. Toss.
