- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 or 2 small onions
- 3 or 4 stalks celery
- 1 green
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon
white mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- Chop cabbage, onions, celery and bell pepper.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
sugar, vinegar, mustard seed and turmeric to boiling. Remove from heat and pour
over grated cabbage mixture.
- Cover and place in refrigerator.
This mixture will keep several weeks in the refrigerator.
