Green Goddess Dressing

Green Goddess Dressing originated in San Francisco.


  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon anchovy paste
  • 1 teaspoon minced parsley
  • 1/3 cup diced onion
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Blend together sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, vinegar, anchovy paste, parsley and onion; season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix well.

Makes about 2 cups.

Dressing may be refrigerated in a covered container for up to 2 weeks.
