Oriental-Style Salad Dressing

This will keep refrigerated for several weeks, so make a quadruple batch and store it for future use.


  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sherry (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Freshly-ground pepper, to taste


  1. Whisk together all ingredients.
  2. Refrigerate.

Makes about 1/2 cup to serve 4 to 6.
