Roquefort Dressing 2



  • 1/4 pound Roquefort or bleu cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/8 cup wine vinegar
  • Sherry
  • Minced onion or onion salt
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  1. Mix first 4 ingredients.
  2. Add sherry to get the consistency you want (about 1/4 cup is usually satisfactory).
  3. Add minced onion or onion salt, and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Allow to set several hours before using to let it mellow.
