Creamed Dried (Chipped) Beef over Toast

Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast

This is commonly known as SOS.

Ingredients

  • Dried (or chipped) beef
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Frizzle dried (or chipped) beef in butter; push to one side and add the remaining ingredients.
  2. Blend until thick and creamy.
  3. Serve over buttered toast.
