Chocolate Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
  3. Refrigerate.

Makes about 1 pint.
