Vanilla Extract 2
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon sunflower or soy oil
- 1 teaspoon liquid lecithin
- Cut vanilla bean into small pieces; place in small bowl. Pour boiling water over
the bean pieces. Cover and let stand to steep overnight.
- Place mixture in blender and blend at medium speed until combined.
- Pour extract into a small bottle. Cap tightly and store in refrigerator.
- Shake well before using,
and use same amount as called for in recipe.
