Country Fried Corn

Corn

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
  • 3/4 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 teaspoons margarine or butter

Instructions

  1. Heat oil on medium heat in a large skillet.
  2. Pour flour, salt and pepper into a medium bowl, and toss to mix seasonings.
  3. Add drained corn and toss with a fork to thoroughly coat corn. Add to skillet.
  4. Add butter to corn and stir every couple of minutes until golden brown.
