Country Fried Corn
Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients
- 2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
- 3/4 cups self-rising flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 4 teaspoons margarine or butter
Instructions
- Heat oil on medium heat in a large skillet.
- Pour flour, salt and pepper into a medium bowl, and toss to mix seasonings.
- Add drained corn and toss with a fork to thoroughly coat corn. Add to skillet.
- Add butter to corn and stir every couple of minutes until golden brown.
