Creamed Spinach, French-Style
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups finely chopped, cooked spinach
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cream
- Salt, pepper and nutmeg
- Trace of granulated sugar
Instructions
- Melt butter.
- Add cooked spinach and cook for 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with flour. Stir well.
- Add cream.
- Cook for 5 minutes.
- Season to taste.
