Dill Pickle Gravy

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 dill pickles, grated fine
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups stock or water


  1. Blend flour and butter and brown over low heat.
  2. Add liquid and beat smooth.
  3. Add dill pickle and sour cream. Beat until smooth.
  4. Season to taste.
