Fried Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound bacon, chopped
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic salt to taste
  • 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet.
  2. Cook cabbage and onion in bacon grease over low heat until tender.
  3. Add butter.
  4. Mix in bacon bits and seasonings, then serve.
