Scalloped Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 4 fresh tomatoes, cut up
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Few grains cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Drain tomatoes.
- Put with crumbs into a buttered baking dish.
- Dot with butter.
- Sprinkle with onion, sugar and seasonings.
- Bake for 30 minutes, until golden brown on top.
