Salmon and Pea Chowder
2 strips bacon, diced
1 medium onion, sliced
3 cups potato slices, 1/4-inch thick
3 cups boiling water
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups flaked canned salmon
2 1/2 cups cooked peas
2 cups whole milk
Sauté bacon and onion until golden brown.
Add potatoes and boiling water. Cook until potatoes are tender.
Add remaining ingredients, and heat to boiling.
