Corn Meal Dumplings
Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients together.
- Beat eggs and milk together.
- Stir in dry ingredients.
- Add melted butter.
- Drop from a spoon over boiled greens or into heated stock. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
